What is Freezone?

Since 2010, players with Nations accounts face new restrictions on server access. These players can now only join "Freezone" servers. On these servers, they can play two maps before being required to wait as a spectator to continue playing.

However, players with Nations accounts can still play on non-Freezone servers if they have added the server to their favorites using the following command:

tmtp://#addfavourite=<LOGIN_SERVER>

Players with United accounts do not have these restrictions and have full access to the game.

Freezone Server Rules

To operate a Freezone server, certain limitations must be followed:

• The server can have no more than 40 slots.
• The server name must follow this format: FreeZone SERVER_NAME.
• The server must be public.
• The server must use a plugin that supports Freezone mode.

The costs associated with running a Freezone server are:

• 10,000 coopers as a deposit.
• 250 coopers per week.

Installation Instructions

To install a Freezone server, a United account for the server is required. Follow these steps to set up the server:

• Create a Server Account: Ensure you have a United account for the server. For account creation, refer to the provided documentation.
• Declare the Server to Nadéo: Visit the following manialink: tmtp:///:freezone:servers. If you encounter access issues, follow the alternative procedure provided.
• Register and Pay Fees: Register the server account on the Manialink and pay the required amounts.
• Obtain the Password: Nadéo will provide a password, which must be entered during the installation of the record manager.
• Name the Server: Add "Freezone" at the beginning of your server name.
